5-Stage Reverse Osmosis System with Permeate Pump 50GPD TFC Membrane Aquatec ERP 1000 Permeate Pump 4 Gallon Storage Tank Complete System including Installation Kit! Complete 5-Stage RO System with permeate pump for bottled quality water at your finger tips! RO systems work by producing the water then storing it in a tank so you have water when you need it.

The biggest disadvantage of this method is the fuller the tank gets, the stronger the pressure required to fill it, this equates to more waste water as the membrane tries to overcome the pressure in the tank. When your household water pressure is borderline (35-45psi) this problem is increased, you waste even more water, and may not be able to fill the tank to it's full capacity. The permeate pump solves this problem by using the waste water to push the product water into the tank, eliminating the back pressure on the membrane, increasing purity and decreasing waste! You have a system that will out perform any similar system without the pump. Complete 5-Stage System: This is a complete system, and comes pre-assembled, with filters, tank, faucet, and installation kit. All you have to do is hook it up! Aquatec ERP 1000 Permeate Pump: Uses waste water flow to increase pressure on membrane, improving rejection rates and decreasing waste water. Ideal for homes with borderline pressure (35-50psi). Comes with instructions to connect!

Removes 95-97% of water contaminates: Including sodium, aluminum, lead, copper, arsenic, mercury, calcium, phosphate, iron, magnesium, zinc, chloride, nitrate, silicate, cyanide, sulphide, nickel, silver, bicarbonate, manganese, ammonium, barium, and chromium, as well as removing 95-97% of bacteria! 4 Gallon storage tank: The production rate of a 50 gpd membrane alone is about 2 gallons per hour, and most people don't want to wait that long to get their water, so this system includes a pressurized storage tank to store the water, giving you about 3.2 gallons of water available at any given time. This tank can be upgraded if you have a large demand for water. High Rejection 50GPD membrane: We use high quality TFC membranes for highest rejection rates. Complete 5-Stage System built in the USA!

Aquatec ERP 1000 Permeate Pump Kit. Free Flowlok leak protection system! Removes 95-97% of Water Contaminates. 4 Gallon Storage Tank (3.2 gallon capacity). Installation Kit with color coded tubing.

Standard Sized replacement filters available from larger hardware stores or from us. NOTE: Pictures are for reference only, actual items may vary slightly from pictures shown. Flow Restrictor: Regulates waste water, providing proper pressure against the membrane to ensure high efficiency Check Valve: Prevents tank from pushing water back through the membrane and down the drain, reducing waste.

Mounting Bracket: Allows for mounting of the RO system, increasing your installation options. Lead-Free Chrome Faucet: For dispensing your RO water, with touch-flo design for ease of use.

Installation Kit: Includes everything you need to install the system in most applications, including 5/8 feed water connector and ball valve (fits most standard faucet shanks), drain saddle valve, tank ball valve, faucet bracket (allows for faucet installation without drilling a hole in the sink), filter housing wrench, color coded tubing, and installation instructions. Standard size filters: Filters are standard 2.5"x10" size, available at most hardware stores. Reverse osmosis, also known as hyperfiltration, is the finest filtration known. This process will allow the removal of particles as small as dissolved individual ions from a solution. Reverse osmosis is used to purify water and remove ions and dissolved organic molecules. It can be used to purify fluids such as ethanol and glycol, which will pass through the reverse osmosis membrane, while rejecting other ions and contaminants from passing.

The most common use for reverse osmosis is in purifying water. It is used to produce water that meets the most demanding specifications that are currently in place. If two aqueous solutions of different salinity are separated by a semi-permeable membrane, osmosis will cause water to pass through the membrane in the direction of the more concentrated solution, therefore diluting it. By applying sufficient pressure to the more concentrated liquid, the direction of osmosis can be reversed. In this way, we can mechanically reverse the flow and separate the concentrated solution into its constituents: the water and the dissolved solids.

One part is called the permeate, or filtrate, and the other is the reject stream, or concentrate. How Does a Membrane Separate Substances? Reverse osmosis uses a membrane that is semi-permeable, allowing the fluid that is being purified to pass through it, while rejecting the contaminants that remain.

Most reverse osmosis technology uses a process known as crossflow to allow the membrane to continually clean itself. As some of the fluid passes through the membrane the rest continues downstream, sweeping the rejected species away from the membrane, in a concentrated brine reject water. The process of reverse osmosis requires a driving force to push the fluid through the membrane, and the most common force is pressure from a pump. The higher the pressure, the larger the driving force.

As the concentration of the fluid being rejected increases, the driving force required to continue concentrating the fluid increases. Reverse osmosis is capable of rejecting bacteria, salts, sugars, proteins, particles, dyes, and other constituents that have a molecular weight of greater than 150-250 daltons. The separation of ions with reverse osmosis is aided by charged particles. This means that dissolved ions that carry a charge, such as salts, are more likely to be rejected by the membrane than those that are not charged, such as organics.

The larger the charge and the larger the particle, the more likely it will be rejected. Size Comparison Comparatively, if a water molecule were the size of a tennis ball....... Most metals and inorganic compounds would be the size of a softball; Most organic compounds would be the size of a basketball. Viruses would be the size of a bus. Bacteria would be the size of a pyramid; and..

Protozoa would be the size of Mount St. HI, AK and other provinces are additional and an invoice will be sent for the additional amount due.
